Discover Aruba's Island Charm: Your Expert Guide to Unforgettable Caribbean Escapes

Aruba, officially known as the Country of Aruba, is a constituent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, situated in the south of the Caribbean Sea with 70 square miles of happiness. This tiny island gem is nestled in the warm climate with nearly 100 different nationalities happily living together. From ancient Caiquetio Indian roots, through Spanish and Dutch rule, to modern day standing as a constituent country of the Netherlands, Aruba’s history dates back centuries. Aruba averages a balmy 82 degrees, with more sunny days than any other Caribbean Island. Aruba’s cuisine is a true melting pot. Although the Dutch settled on the island in 1634, the 100 different nationalities call Aruba home. Each brought their own culture and foods. African, Dutch, South African, Indonesian, Spanish, Portuguese, Indian, Chinese, and South American traditions, techniques, and spices blend to produce Aruban food. This flavorful cuisine has thousands of different tastes and nuances. Fresh seafood abounds in Aruba. Try it grilled, fried, covered with a creole sauce, or as the main ingredient in a soup. Fill up with hearty beef, goat, and pumpkin stews. Bite into keshi yena, one of Aruba’s best-known traditional foods, this is a mix of meat, vegetables, and dried fruits baked in a cheese rind. For sweet treats, taste Aruba’s cocada, a coconut candy, quesillo, a flan-like dessert, and Dutch chocolate. Don’t forget about Dutch pancakes. Locals devour them with different fillings for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The main destinations in Aruba are Eagle Beach, Palm Beach, and Oranjestad. Aruba has many activities to choose from. Some of those are a day trip to Aruba De Palm, helicopter tours, paragliding, Jeep Tour, hiking, surfing, snorkeling, diving, horseback riding, and swimming in a natural pool in the Arikok National Park. Aruba has many accommodations to choose from. Some of our partner recommendations are Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort, Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino, Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive, Courtyard by Marriott Aruba Resort, and All-Inclusive Holiday Inn Resort Aruba. Keep in mind that Aruba enjoys a consistently warm climate year-round, so even outside of the dry season, you're likely to experience pleasant weather.
